“In the town of Greendale, where it always feels like Halloween, there lived a girl who was half-witch, half-mortal, who, on her 16th birthday would have to choose between two worlds: the witch world of her family, and the human world of her friends.
My name is Sabrina Spellman and that girl is me.”

Like many, when you begin to rewatch a show or film that captures your attention just as much as the first time, you stop focusing on what you would have. The plot is known and the sad parts become that tiniest bit less sad; so now you are focusing on the design, the themes and motifs, the plot holes and unanswered questions. I have recently began watching Chilling adventures of Sabrina once again in light of my EPQ surrounding ‘witches in film and literature’, and instead of just binging edits and adding to my playlist something different has happened. So different that I feel the need to start a ‘compendium’ to store my knowledge of this show and all of the occult-y witch-y stuff I know. I want to show off all the ways I can link it to literature analysis, music, and psychology.

What better way to summarise my knowledge than to do a time-consuming, energy-absorbing episode summary, this will truly ensure that my depth in analysing the series is perfected.
Of course, the suitable place to start would be the main family tree of the show. Luckily, unlike most cinematic universes, the Spellmans were kept simple, as well as the other characters; surprisingly, no incest (despite Faustus’ attempts). However, I’ll get into the other characters at a later date.
